Russian Industry Week features forum on additive manufacturing and 3D solutions
EXPOCENTRE has opened its doors to the three-day NDUSTRY 3D: the International Forum on Additive Technologies and 3D Solutions. It is organised by EXPOCENTRE and operated by WebConf with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade within Russian Industry Week 2022 and Technoforum 2022.
Today’s key event of the forum was the Strategic Session on Russian Equipment for Additive Technologies: Supporting Manufacturers and Removing Barriers.
The session was moderated jointly by Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Chair of the VOIR Central Council and Chair at the Organising Committee of NTI Expo Vladimir Kononov and CEO of I3D Mikhail Rodin.
Representatives of the Association for Additive Technologies Development, leading industrial corporations and manufacturing companies spoke at the session about the work under the conditions of sanctions and the effectiveness of state support measures. The participants of the discussion spoke about possibilities and ways of removing barriers to the development of the additive manufacturing industry, priorities of forming the industry regulatory framework, training of industry professionals, and other urgent issues.
The organisers of the 3D Industry Forum see its task as helping to solve the problems hindering the development of the industry, developing proposals to stimulate, subsidise and support additive technology, and bringing together manufacturers, integrators, users, experts and academics associated with AT and 3D solutions in a single platform.
The forum’s events also aim to provide additive manufacturing professionals with a convenient format to promote their solutions, technologies, services, materials, educational programmes, scientific developments, and productive networking.
The forum is open from 25 through 27 October.
