On behalf of Centrlesexpo — a leader in the timber exhibition industry and the Salon organizer, I am glad to welcome you to Lesprombusiness’2007 — the specialized expo event devoted to the timber industry.
This year the show is held within the frameworks of the first ever Technoforum International Specialized Exhibition, covering main engineering sectors. Large exhibition space and a vast programme of exhibition-related events allow the organizers to hold the two shows simultaneously in one venue.
The Lesprombusiness’2007 International Salon is a comprehensive project, providing interested visitors with an opportunity to see semi-finished and finished timber products and wood processing technologies, including machinery, equipment, tools, management and control systems. Applied research and educational institutions, seeking cooperation with timber business, also take part in the show. The Science for the Timber Industry stand demonstrates scientific and technical developments, equipment and instrument samples of leading Russian research institutions.
The way the show is arranged opens up an opportunity for companies of the timber supply chain to increase the number of their business partners, which helps to maximize output figures of finished timber products, to promote domestic products on home and foreign timber markets and meet various customers’ demands.

The TECHNOFORUM International Specialized Exhibition is a new project launched by Expocentre and the Russian Association of Machine Tool Producers Stankoinstrument. The exhibition features science intensive innovations that will be introduced in parallel with the implementation of high-priority national programmes.
Alternating with Metalloobrabotka, Russia’s largest trade show for high technologies, the TECHNOFORUM Exhibition will be held biennially offering exhibitors plenty of opportunity to display high-efficiency equipment and innovative technologies for manufacturing of competitive products.
The decision of the exhibition organizers to launch a new project was determined by the current state of the Russian market for engineering products and a special role of machinery manufacturing in the technical re-equipment of domestic industrial enterprises.
The Lesprombusiness International Salon that promotes innovative technologies, machinery and equipment for timber harvesting and woodworking on the Russian market will run in parallel with the TECHNOFORUM Exhibition.
The potential of industry-related sciences, various issues on vocational education and training programmes for machine-building industry professionals will be highlighted in the Science, Vocational Education and Production Specialized Thematic Section.
A busy programme of exhibition-related events, seminars and business meetings accompanies the exhibition. The two-day scientific conference — Innovative Technologies, Equipment, Components and Tools for the Russian Engineering Industry — will host representatives of Russia’s largest machine tool manufacturers and the leading technical universities.

The Stankoinstrument Association consolidates companies of the main industry sector — machine-tooling.
